GE Technology Infrastructure Employee Reviews for Electrical Integration Engineer

"I was a contract employee. I enjoyed my experience with GE. However they have a very bad company policy of requiring contractors to be furloughed for 3 months following 1 year of service. If liked you are eligible for rehire (and I am) for an additional year if there is an opening for you. It does not seem conducive to continuity because GE is a company that does have a steep learning curve to come up to speed with their internal system. If offered a position I would go back in a heart beat (and I was traveling over an 1 3/4 hours one way to work)."
