"I've worked for GE Software early in its existence and though the benefits packages are not competitive for Silicon Valley, the opportunity to work on its vision is very appealing. The people in the organization are smart and passionate about what they do. However, GE is a large established organization and there is a lot that goes with that including bureaucracy that prevents things from being done efficiently, and a matrixed culture that also prevents decisions from being made efficiently."
