"I enjoy working with veterans from all branches of the military. Helping fellows veterans achieve higher education is something that I take pride in. I am a firm believer in helping others achieve what I have."

"Be prepared for a lot of talking and always talk with a smile on your face."

What don't you like about working at Grand Canyon University?

"Not interacting face to face would be my only dislike. Only talking to students on the telephone makes it impersonal and a little more challenging to build rapport."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Counselors are the conduit to the university and the students. Continue to create an environment that is conducive to allow counselors to develop and productivity will increase."
