"I've worked for Gannett Media Technologies International (part of Gannett) for 8 years and it was exciting at first since they trained and promoted from within. However, in 2010 there was a shift in philosophy and the in house training stopped, in favor of contract employees. If you're a skilled contractor, this place is for you."
"I have worked with Gannett Media since June of 2012. It is a challenging environment. Gannett Media has over 80 websites, and these sites consume several APIs most of which are developed within the company. You may ask what does software development have to do with a media company. The answer is a lot. Gannett Media has unique requirements that are always changing, so to keep up with the pace their software needs had to be handled in house. From the UX to the subscription and user management, and also the Ads on the sites."

"I worked for Gannet for over 5 years. The company was originally called GateHouse Media, LLC until they purchased Gannet this year. I worked many projects with the major project being the migration of a Financial Application from one domain to another domain. This included new VM Servers, creation of AD users, technical and non-technical documentation. Project documentation, testing documentation, testing documentation and user documentation (how to login, navigate through the app, etc.)"
