"I've been working here since November of 2013. I have made proposals to improve the communications department including researching various computers and websites to find the best equipment for the best price. However, I have not been able to receive the proper equipment to ensure that my department runs efficiently and effectively. I am told that the City Council has all say in the matter and the City of Galena does not have the funds to make the necessary updates."

"It is a military environment and they look for a sharp appearance and professional attitude."

"I do not like the inherent danger that comes with being a Police Officer or the fact that many people dislike or hate you just for the uniform you wear."

"There are many options available for funding that would make the job safer and easier."
