Friars Road Pet Hospital Employee

"This is a one doctor practice which I thought would be fine, but he is very rude. Says things like "YOU GOT IT! " "YOU UNDERSTAND?" He is a misogynist. Oh, and don't ever leave him in a room with a big dog because he's scared LMAO seriously he got mad and said "don't ever do that again because if it jumps on me, or tries to bite", are you serious like I'm gonna protect you! Never! I am a very fast tech but this guy likes to hover back and forth rushing everything making sure he gets out on time for his lunch break but doesn't care about yours, if we are backed up with sx or drop offs then you will work until it's done without a break, and you never get 10 minutes. Breaks here only lunch breaks, which are an hour long so you can sit around and wait til appointments start again at 3. On any euthanasias he is horrible, not sympathetic to their situation, doesn't explain what's going to happen, just goes in and pushes the euthasol and then tells them to let go of their pet so he can check for a heart beat, he also rushes them out of the room when he's done so it can be available for the next apt. He adds things to estimates not needed, like blood work so he can make his quota and of course the money. Dentals get done on pets that don't need it so he can make money and it's not cheap. He hires kids with absolutely no animal experience, let alone job experience, pays them 12 bucks an hour and expects you to train them. WHAT! I went to school to do what I do. I'm gonna teach this kid what I know? NO WAY. This is why we have such a hard time finding a job that pays any good. WTF Their are no Heska pumps here, no medical math, no challenge. And he has a wife that is an OCD freak! This place is the cleanest hospital I've ever worked at because his wife wants you to clean, clean, clean and if it's already clean do it again. She walks back and forth looking for dust bunnies or floating hairs. And she follows her husband's every move to see if he needs anything, it's pathetic. She's crazy!"
