"My 2nd tour. They have gone downhill since about 2015. I came back thinking I would at least be able to fix my own situation to where I had some control over my hours. Wrong. No autonomy, all micromanagement. Super high turnover amongst selectors and drivers. Doesn't have to be like this but they are firm on their "plan". Selectors have an incentive pay structure that encourages sloppy work which then gets passed on to drivers who have an incentive pay structure that encourages sloppy service passed on to the customers. Nobody really wants to do crappy work but speed is more important than quality to the point that anyone with a conscience lives in a moral dilemma. The incentive is nominal and feeling of doing substandard work should haunt anyone. If it doesn't haunt you, you have no soul. Management wants you to keep your mouth shut while they work the crap out of you with excessive unpredictable hours all the while doing slop work. Turnover is so bad that they shuffle routes between location drivers over 2 hours away constantly. It's a given. If you are dumb enough to want a promotion, congratulations! You'll likely get it. A Salaried stooge. Good luck."
"It’s a very physical job. Helps keep you in shape. The pay incentive for production also allows for an uncapped salary as a selector."
"I've worked for FreshPoint for 4 years. The work is rewarding and employees are engaged. I would recommend this employer to anyone with a passion for agriculture or foodservice"
