"I have worked for Frazer, LLP since 2014 and there are pros and cons. Frazer is a regional firm with the main office in Brea and another office in Visalia and it has a very good reputation in the agriculture industry. I have worked in assurance since 2016 after transfer from Asian services. The assurance department has 3 to 6 staff with 2 managers and 4 partners. Due to the size, the staff is expected to learn how to do everything. It is a high-stress environment, however, it is very beneficial for a staff who is self-motivated and wants to learn and grow. It could be struggling for someone new to assurance because you don't really understand what you are doing. And it is not for everyone. Frazer offers health insurance, a 401k plan, overtime pay, and dinners during the busy season. Seniors, managers, and partners are willing to teach and help you. Overall, I had a positive experience at Frazer and I feel prepared for the private sector."

"I worked for Frazer Ltd. for six months. While the company's core values say "To bring your own passion. Don't Fear Failure. Own it." - I found the managers I worked for could not agree on anything and could benefit from additional training. My direct manager had a need to micro-manage everything. He was never able to embrace any of my ideas, unless he could make them the way in which he could see them. It was a terrible work environment in which I was constantly told that leadership was not happy with my skill set. Additionally, the job that was hired to do would have been impossible for anyone to succeed in. I don't believe you can create a job dependent on a committee of 3-5 people to approve your work in a rough draft, final draft, plus the approval of the CEO within a one week time frame.. There were too many cooks in the kitchen. Each had their own opinion. Therefore, no one could ever agree on anything or were every happy. It was highly frustrating."
