"I was outdoors a lot, climbing towers and getting good exercise. And it was fun to expand internet service to homes and farms in the outlying areas that otherwise could not get internet service."

"Yes, and my advice would be to not let the management style get you down."

What don't you like about working at Fox Valley Internet?

"My manager micro-managed everyone, to the point that it was safer to wait for instructions rather than self-start. I am a self-starter and this was difficult to deal with for me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust the people you hire to do their job, and to make the right decisions. If you cannot trust someone, you need to replace them with someone you CAN trust."
