"An IT group in extreme pain, led by someone w/ zero operations knowledge/skill."
What do you like about working at Fox Racing Shox?
"Casual atmosphere and frequent events designed to build employee morale."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't. If you're offered an interview here, decline it and keep looking elsewhere. Neither the frequently-angry environment nor the pay is worth it."
What don't you like about working at Fox Racing Shox?
"Very low level of professionalism and frighteningly low pay for non-managers. Though never involved in any, I saw almost- daily verbal abuse of employees by managers and outright yelling matches between employees. Additionally, company has serious growing pains; they can't come to grips with the fact they're not tiny any more and actively resist any measures to grow up culturally or procedurally. This attitude comes from the top and trickles down."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Create a CIO/CTO role that reports directly to the CEO. Completely overhaul *senior* IT management with people who've got HUGE company experience."
