"After settling in with the company I found the day to day to become mundane. With no support to move away from the boring day to day I was forced to entertain myself through self improvement. I was laid off right before I was due a review/raise and 2 juniors were hired to start the Monday following my departure. I can't speak to why this happened. But it definitely was not due to poor performance. I hoped to grow with the company, but that was cut short because they wanted a cheap replacement."
