"I worked for Longview ISD for four years teaching first and sixth-grade subjects. I thought it was a good district overall, however, it lacked in some areas. A major concern for me was the overcrowding of schools that mostly minority children attended. In my last year with the district, there were some progressive solutions presented to alleviate some of those issues. When I worked at the middle school level I gained more autonomy which was a game-changer for me. I was happier and could more readily perform y job tasks."
