"I’ve worked for FBD since 1998. I have found it to be a family friendly company. The owners and management have very strong ethics and morals. They provide a healthy balance of taking care of both clients and employees."
"Great group in the West Monroe office, but client loss in 2018 / 2019 led to a shortage in work and ultimately, employee lay-offs and people leaving for better opportunities. Unbillable time and/or the inability to travel usually results in job loss for the employee, so be aware. FB&D is owned by S&B and many of the high level decisions seem to come from Houston or the larger FB&D Baton Rouge office so despite being a tight-knit group, the company feels like a large firm and very "corporate" at times. The company also switched to a new health insurance plan (company-managed and administered by North American Administrators) that is very confusing and essentially amounts to an expensive high deductible plan that the employee has to monitor continually or risk not being reimbursed for treatment. In-network coverage and participating doctors rarely align and employees are asked to "nominate" health care providers in order to receive in-network benefits."
"Good company to work for. I was with the chemical department and my supervisor is a nice person to work with. My colleges were professional and friendly. I have no complaints from them. The only reason me leaving is for a much better opportunity."
