"Most of what I had in this job was supplied by myself. I only got the job thanks to a distributor attending a panel I was running at New York Anime Festival in 2009. They recruited my friend, who became my supervisor, and I to write about model kits from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise because they were looking to distribute in that area. As time went on I began to cover more products, and was essentially getting reimbursed for the products I was buying for review. It was fun."
