What don't you like about working at Florida Eye Clinic?

"Poor benefits...luckily, my husband has good benefits. Lack of compensation. Sick days come out of vacation pay- there are no designated sick days. Vacation time does not roll over if unused at year end. Pay scale is lower than that of other like companies in the area. Employees are not appropriately compensated or recognized for their accomplishments and hard work. Administration is adamant that the staff collect as much money as possible, so they can main their wealthy standards of living, but does not care about their struggling, underpaid employees...we have not had even cost of living raises in 4 years."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"At least pretend to care about your employees and their well-being. Remember, though the physicians bring in the patients, a good support staff keeps them coming back. Without us, you would not be able to function. Turnover is high because employees are mistreated and unrewarded...you get what you pay for."
