"Great learning environment."
"I attended an immersive Software Engineering bootcamp at Flatiron School, and was deeply impressed with the experience. In the period of the bootcamp, I was exposed considerably to a variety of technologies such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React.js, Redux, HTML, CSS, among other technologies. I would definitely recommend it!"
"Flatiron School is a welcoming community that fosters a great sense of inclusion and collaboration. There's a growth pattern but with WeWork that has trickled down to Flatiron School, however, career opportunity is trying for constituents in middle management roles."
"I've worked for Flatiron for almost a year now. It's a great school that changes peoples lives."
"Flatiron school is a wonderful place to learn how to code. Flatiron offers Software Engineering, Data Science and UI/UX Design. Each cohort of students has 2 coaches and 1 lead instructor. Flatiron is a very inclusive community and a great place to learn!"
"The program was fantastic, I was able to work under senior engineers. These engineers were incredibly helpful and worked hard to further teach Full Stack Development."
"Great people who are all in alignment with the mission and goals of the company."
"I have worked for Flatiron School since July of 2019. I cannot speak for other campuses, but the staff and supervisors in Denver are phenomenal. They truly support my growth as an individual, and have been effusive in their support and encouragement in my pursuit of the next opportunity, despite the added work it will create for them. I have been given the opportunity to provide direct instruction to students, support them one-on-one, and pursue technologies of personal interest since day one. There is virtually no possibility of advancement, but the personal development is fantastic."
"Great place to be a student."
"The Flatiron School is a fantastic company! Everyone who works here is incredibly smart and personable. My colleagues and I are challenged every day to give our students the best education possible, and we all work extremely hard to provide them the best experience we can."
"Pretty good if you want to learn how to code. You have to take classes before that though."
"With the acquisition of Flatiron School by WeWork, expansion was forced too quickly and not sustainably, and when WeWork recently was under fire, Flatiron also suffered major loses. As it currently stands, all of the dust is still settling and there are major discrepancies between different teams and levels within the organization, making it difficult to effectively produce positive change. The education team, however, are a truly lovely group of people, and try their best every day to build back up to the vision the school once upheld, though it has proven difficult in the face of unrelenting adversity."
"Great place to study., I have learned more skills in only a little time."
"Fast-paced mission-driven start-up."
"Although this is a design program meant to shape you into a designer ready for the workforce and not an actual employer, I contend that the experience I had at Flatiron was absolutely invaluable. I had the opportunity to take projects from the very beginning of the project cycle all the way to the end. I worked with software engineers, utilized several different design tools, sourced users for interviews and testing, designed multiple iterations for a myriad of projects, and work closely and strongly with my team. Flatiron was an awesome opportunity."
