Research Chemist

"This is no longer the golden company of the past. Despite their hype and beautiful reports, it practices arbitrary decision making; upper management is disorganized and self-serving, and some even blatantly lazy; promotions are unrelated to performance and scientific meritocracy; bad consultants are retained for the purpose of writing rave reports for the boss."

Firmenich Employee

"A company with a lot of hype. Used to be a great company but now plagued by poor middle management. Absence of leadership; decision-making arbitrary; promotions unrelated to performance or scientific merit; technical consultations disappointing but consultants are retained solely to write rave reports for the boss. Company seems to have lost sight of it's values; inattentive to social responsibilities towards it's employees."
