"I have worked for this since March 2020. It is a very strong company in its field. It has a great environment for employees and uses the latest technology especially in IT section."

"A recruiting company connected me to a Big Data Engineering role at FINRA and after a phone interview and a take-home assessment, I was invited to meet the team onsite. Now, I did not have Big Data experience before, but the team had expressed several times that they're looking for strong problem solvers and those who will be able to take the initiative to learn technologies they are unfamiliar with. The engineers and program manager I first met were very respectful, but when I talked with the team lead/director, it was very clear he was not interested. The director was very challenging towards my lack of experience in Big Data (though as previously mentioned, the rest of the team said it was ok to not have prior experience), but also did not give me a chance to explain my previous experiences and even described some aspects on my resume as "being pathetic like working a minimum wage job at a restaurant". For more context, I took a year break to work in the restaurant industry to pursue a passion of mine. A few other teammates in the room sat there and chuckled so it was clear to me at the moment what their team culture was like. So I motioned to end the interview early and left. I personally like to take professionalism seriously and always try my best to foster healthy, cooperative work environments. FINRA's work culture (at least this team) is something I would never want to be part of. Needless to say, I will never consider FINRA again."

"I worked at Finra since the beginning of 2018, working in their Member Supervision Technology department. The company philosophy is very admirable, in that time i felt like a valued member of the team and was given the freedom and resources to do my job well and succeed at what tasks were put in front of me. The team is great and helps you get up to speed fast. If I didn't have to relocate away from the area, I would still be with the company"

"FINRA is very good company to work for. What I do not like are some difficulties with cooperation between different IT infrastructure support teams."

"I've been working for FINRA since 2010. It's a good company with decent working environment. Not so good at mid- and low-level management in IT department. The focus seems to be on achieving somebody's personal goals, rather than on how to get the job done the best possible way."
