"Read every word of your offer letter and the do not compete agreement."

"Lack of current technology. Immorality among representatives. No team atmosphere in the office."

"Concentrate on technology. Compliance is very important but not overly done to where business in hindered. Top producers should be rewarded and shown only if their work is beneficial to client and not only to their commission."

"Be aware that the position is straight commission and they do not give you leads. But, the company has great training & treats its top salesman fantastic."

"Sales was difficult for me. And they did not give you leads. You had to find leads through you friends and family."

"I have no suggestions for management. This is a very well managed company."

"As with any intereview, you want to be yourself and truly show that you can handle the duties."

"Limited learning and growth potential was the main drawback of the position."

"This was a newer firm, and I think the management did a very fair job."

"Flexibility of schedule and potential for not having a cap on salary."

"The company will expect you to provide your own leads via friends and family, which felt too much like an Amway Ambush. They tell you they will provide leads but they don't tell you they charge $200/lead that becomes a successful application."
What don't you like about working at MetLife?
"The company is too focused on sales and not the client or his needs. Also, the Compliance Department is known as Business Prevention Unit."

"Complete overhaul of business operating model. What worked in 1950 - 1970 is no longer valid."

"Be upbeat, have a great personality, be professional and have outstanding work ethic."

"You do three times the amount of work that other financial institutions do yet you get paid significantly less."

"Make sure there is equality in the work place and that everyone, including the top sales people, be held accountable for errors."
