"The location - it was a 2 hour drive one way from my home."

"Continue to listen to the needs of your staff and stop focusing too much on numbers"

"It is gratifying knowing I am assisting in students becoming scholars."

"The business decisions seem to be short-sighted. I understand it is a business, but the goal is to educate."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen the the employees who have experience in day-to-day operations and interactions with students."
What do you like about working at Vista College?
"This company pays decent for the area. It is an office job."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There is a high turnaround, it's a good job if you are only looking for temporary work. It's very frustrating working with anyone in the corporate office. It is a for-profit company that doesn't really care students or employees."
What don't you like about working at Vista College?
"The workload is ridiculous! The departments can not agree on anything. It's just a lot of work and not enough pay or recognition."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would start by evaluating all of my staff, starting with the directors who don't know what they are doing most of the time. Treat my employees fairly and review evaluations based on hard work and senority."

"I loved the work. I would give all for the job if treated by the company as importtant."

"Ask a million questions about how their employees feel about the company. Be sure to ask them about benefits they provide. The will not tell you upfront without you asking specific questions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Care about your people and stop treating them as children to be watched and scolded. The owner uses his managers to degrade and abuse his employees. That beautiful building is just a facade for the horror within. They will do anything inside of legal to make a profit."

"I love being able to help students find funding so that they were able to get an education to make a difference in their lives."

"When I was not able to find the funding for a student or when a student would want to drop out of school."
