What do you like about working at Fannie May?
"It was unsafe with unrealistic, demanding sales quota. We constantly had to be fixing problems that could have been fixed if we had better equipment like most retail places already have. We key in all our products rather than scanning them. One mistakes results in problems over problems. Because of these problems, the costumers were mostly impatient. In addition, certain rules were put down that were inefficient and kept the customers disgruntled such as wasting chocolate by putting them on display when we had ran out for the day which is deceptive to the customer."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Look out for 4 hours a week, because that's the minimum you're allowed to work and they take advantage of that. Either that, work you like a whipped dog."
What don't you like about working at Fannie May?
"Since it was corporate, it was always sell, sell, sell. They didn't care about the conditions of the sales associate or pretty much anyone under them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Buy better equipment that put us in the present day in a fast-paced world. Have reasonable rules and efficient way to deposit money and handling the product."
