"As an online instructor, I have flexible hours and enjoy helping students learn."

"Have your resume and transcripts ready; the training requires as much time to complete as would a standard college-level course."
What don't you like about working at Baker College?
"I never know how many courses I will be teaching until about 2 weeks before the session begins; annual income cannot be predicted; no paid vacation."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The company values students and employees; it would be nice if contract faculty could receive a more stable income."

"I am teaching my first class. It is a class in SQL Server 2008."
What do you like about working at University of Phoenix?
"I am enjoying the experience of teaching adults. It is giving me a new perspective on database topics that I was very familiar with from a student/work perspective."
What don't you like about working at University of Phoenix?
"It is frustrating to give out poor grades when you find that students have not been motivated to complete the assignment. I recently had this experience for the first time and I am working in my head to see what I can come up with to motivate this particular student."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to and care about your employees. It is apparent to workers when management cares and when management does not care as well."
What do you like about working at Episcopal School of Dallas?
"Great reputation, great facilities, terrific group of faculty, great Head of Upper School. (She should be running the School!)"

"Yes, great school, great reputation, great facilities. Just hold off until there's some new management in the top position that really cares about faculty."
What don't you like about working at Episcopal School of Dallas?
"The leadership at the top. No interaction with faculty, no leadership of the School. Obsessed with fundraising. Time for headmaster and academic head to retire."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take a close look at what's going on in Egypt! It works. Get new leadership for the future."
What don't you like about working at Kean University?
"It is great and I have no complaints there."

"More or training than software development"

"Motivated students and innovative model with secondary and post secondary kind of combined. Very good faculty that are easy to like."

"Each department is unique unto itself. Make sure the people and culture fits you. If it does, you will have a wonderful experience."
What don't you like about working at Anoka Technical College?
"Very slow process for changing or starting anything new. Administration was very well credentialed. It did not translate well to effective management. No real cohesive vision."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Plan, evaluate and execute. They all have to go together. Good intentions are only exciting for a short while. After that, people want to see results."
