"The pay and working environment is quite good here. I have started working on 25 K per month , and now I am getting 33 K per month."
"It's fun, resolving people's computer issues, especially via remote desktop, which makes the job easier than simply trying to walk the customer through the steps of troubleshooting. I like learning about computers and wish to continue to do so. It is important to have time for on-the-job training, however, and with some helpdesk jobs, there is not enough time for training. It is difficult to know how to resolve issues for which one has not been properly trained. This can make the job stressful."

"No, I would suggest that anyone looking for a job in IT. That this might be a fit for you."

"The workspace could have been a little more organized. Seeing that the space that the division was working with was small."

"More room, standardized training, and the feeling that what you expected to learn, comes with time."

What do you like about working at Computer Sciences Corp?
"Not the same as advertised by the contract company. Company leaders implementing bad policies affecting people around the world and not fully realizing the impact those policies have."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be aware that things are not as great as the contractors may make it seem. And verify with your interviewer all offered amounts the contract company tells you before accepting the position."

"The fact that the major leaders are forgetting about their employees and trying to make things more difficult for the employees to do their jobs."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop taking away tools and process the a 24/7 company needs and placing access to them on an 8 am to 5 pm basis."

"I was let go because of reorganization of their Helpdesk staffing, and I would like to have made a little more salary wise."

"I don't want Neglect, abuse, exploitation, limitation to create new things"

"I should just appreciate a bit more to their employees, they have the knowledge and ideas that you can bring to the company"

"I enjoy working with customers in a face to face environment. I appreciate the gratitude from customers when I am able to help them out of a frustrating problem with technology. I enjoy getting to know the staff and faculty that I may end up helping again or meeting elsewhere on campus."

"Have a general idea of computing skills and ideals. Know an idea of how computers function, an idea of root-cause troubleshooting, and be willing to read up on processes and procedures created in a living document which is easily referable. When in doubt, look up a problem and educate yourself before burdening or interrupting your manager with a problem that takes 5 minutes to look up. This not only gives you the knowledge of how to do it in the future, but shows your manager that you are able to solve your own problems."
What don't you like about working at Trine University?
"Co-workers slacking off/not performing duties to full extent. Not only does this waste company time and money, but the customers end up suffering as well when time is unnecessarily added to their wait."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Give new hires guidance.After probation period, trust that their training will come into play without smothering them with suggestions, which may discourage them from finding their own solutions."

"There are many good people to work with and the company is growing."

"Be prepared for a demanding workplace that could be vastly better organized."

"The is a displeasing amount of arrogance at the top that manifests itself with special treatment for select people."

"Stop prioritizing sales over people and establish workplace equality for everyone, not just executives."
What do you like about working at United States Air Force?
"I liked building long lasting relationships with the medical staff with supporting the mission. Anytime they had an issue with any IT hardware/software/network/EMR/EHR, they would come to me first so we could discuss on how we were going to fix the problem."

"Don't be nervous when interviewing for a job there because everyone treats you with open arms and respect."
What don't you like about working at United States Air Force?
"The only thing I didn't like about it was it was contracting work and you never knew if the contract was going to be awarded again the following year."

"My management that ran Keesler Medical Group ran it close to perfection as the Air Force had a tight grip on what you can and can't do."

What do you like about working at NetCarrier?
"The people were nice, the technology was cool. I received a certification in Adtran inter-networking as part of my working requirements."

"Be yourself, be casual. The people there are nice people, but the culture itself wasn't my style."
What don't you like about working at NetCarrier?
"I would be given assignments without the ability or authority to complete them on my own. Many aspects of the company seemed too slowly paced."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"A bit more thorough training would be helpful. Better assistance handling phone calls."

"The team that I work with is great. Everyone is a team player and willing to help each other."

"Be ready to have your whole day change at a moments notice. Be adaptive and don't be afraid to take things on by yourself. ( i.e. trainging, research, etc )"
What don't you like about working at Richmond City Public Schools?
"They are very indecisive. They start to many projects at one time with a limited staff. Management doesn't always listen to us about what we see out in the field and how things are hence sometimes they give us unreasonable time tables to get things done. No room for advancement."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would stick to the things that we say we are going to do. Instead of telling the employees that we no longer do something and then turn around a few weeks later and tell them that they need to do what they said we didn't do anymore I would stick to my guns and tell whoever that our department no longer handles this. I would listen to the ideas of my employees rather than brushing them off. I would go out on site with them just so them know that I'm willing to do what they do. Also be more knowledgeable in the field i'm working in."
