"I will preface this review by noting that the quality of their work is high, and they deliver a consistently good service to their customers . I will give them that. Additionally, my direct supervisor was very kind and helpful to work with. However; my experience with them working as a consultant ended in them refusing to pay me for hours that I worked as they were not happy with the notice I gave. I don't care what kind of notice you give to a company. You pay people if they did work for you. It's not an unusual concept! Additionally, Exakt Marketing pays consultants below the industry standard and are highly micro-managerial to work with. Those are the two reasons why I left. I tried to politely decline the position during my second week working (while still a trainee) stating that it wasn't a good professional match, and they refused payment. Not worth it from a consultant/contractor standpoint. There are many other great companies out there to work for who will actually pay you for your work and at the amount you are deserving of."
