"What a let down."

What do you like about working at Essential Living Foods?

"Supporting other sales people and employees who's managers have been unavailable due to being checked out of the business."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would not recommend interviewing with this company. It's too unstable. Instead of creating a plan and working on achieving it, the go to solution is for the CEO to keep recruiting more investors to keep the company going. I've seen the same challenges cycle around twice now."

What don't you like about working at Essential Living Foods?

"Due to the disorganization their is not control over our inventory. As a sales rep, I can not answer basic questions confidently. Like - How much of an ingredient is available to purchase, or When can my order ship and many technical details on products required to make sales to larger manufacturers are not available."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They should commit to the B2C direction they've started to focus on and lay off their sales force. Many of our B2B accounts are cancelling orders and ending their relationship with us. The company should invest in IT resources to clean up a botched installation of NetSuite for running the entire company and strengthen the entire operation. Hire lower cost customer service reps to processes B2B orders and the requested returns and credits. They should work towards profitability through B2C and then when they can commit to serving businesses more reliably - at that time they can bring on new sales people to work on recruiting old customers back."
