"Overall, I think there is a good company. Specifically, this review only pertains to CEI operations, I cannot speak for other departments. The management does not micro-manage (5/5). The company is pretty old school with their work culture (4/5). The company has nice facilities (5/5). I do think they put more emphasis on recruiting new employees than holding on to existing employees (employee management relationship 4/5). Their COVID-19 response could have been better, sending one reusable mask is not adequate (2/5). Company trend is pretty much lateral at the moment as they are often subconsultants on NCDOT construction projects and are frequently not awarded the contracts; however, the PMs are very qualified and are doing a good job so it's an issue of the economic climate (4/5). I don't think there is much room to move up in the company (3/5). Most of the staff I spoke with have a pretty positive view of the company (4/5)."
