"* I worked for Equiant for several years. I found the culture to be good in regards to how HR involved the employees and provided team building activities. HR made for a fun work environment. * The company is very client focused and provides a great service platform for their industry. *Upper management was constantly striving to be better and grow the company. However, their approach for internal improvement was somewhat destructive and left something to be desired. During my employment, internal growth was accomplished by firing and/or demoting long term employees in order to replace them with new talents. This included their CFO, CTO, IT Manager, Execute HR person, various non-execute employees, IT employees etc.... Upper management always 'surprised' everyone with their decisions. These actions caused other valuable people in IT and other departments to be stressed and overworked and eventually quit. I hope they get this figured out."
"Small fish in a very big pond. They are a 20-year-old servicing company trying to be a software development company and just don’t have the know how to do so. They hire people who are experts in their field, then tell them how to be an expert. They don’t have a vision or a plan to get where they are trying to go. Exec mgmt. is terrible. No leadership ability."
"Just a bad company to work for. Poor leadership throughout. This company has no future but closing and going out of business."
"A highly unorganized company when it relates to their development team and communication from the top which makes it hard to develop anything for them. The vision and goals of the CEO were great, but the folks below do not represent his goals and visions for the organization nor for IT."
