"It's a good company with a few flaws that make you wonder about it's sustainability. I work in a top notch engineering department. I enjoy most of the people that I work with. We have had a lot of issues with systems design, production, sourcing and quality, all created by a lousy VP who is no longer with the company. The new VP has his head screwed on right and is trying to fix the issues. There is a significant problem with communication and assistance between departments. You are not their priority, which makes life difficult when you need parts. We have implemented a lot of systems changes, it seems like one every 5 minutes. This makes it exceedingly difficult to do your job because you have to learn the new way quite often. There are always more hoops and longer lead times with the new system, which means you will always have someone asking you where a part is that they critically need and have reminded you about for the last 3 days."

"Despite the split from Atlas Copco into a self-contained entity known as Epiroc, some cultural relevance which focused on the more human aspect of their staff survived. Management did their best to keep workloads reasonable. The work was intense, interesting, and always innovative."
