English First Employee

"I love working with EF. Students are phenomenal. My manager is amazing. Anything I may need to know I can reach out and I will receive a response back within a timely manner. Knowing you are making a difference by teaching, is a rewarding job in itself. I love my students. They are amazing. The only downside is I wish for more hours. Due to students being in regular school during the daytime. I'm limited to my hours I can teach."

What don't you like about working at English First?

"I am overworked and expected to perform miracles with the sub-standard materials they provide. Prior to starting, it was said that the lessons are pre-made. In turn, this would have meant that it would be necessary to adequately prepare for the class. Unfortunately, the lessons are so bad that one spends a lot of time gathering information from the Internet. That's right, we do not have any real books or materials. Additionally, the day can be about 10 hours long."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be clear about the Mission Statement. More importantly, who's your customer Finally, why do the lessons not have a clear objective, aim, and sequence In theory the lesson have these parts, however, reality is a little different."
