"One must have a high tolerance for micromanaging and be ready to be criticized for everything you do. Working in a toxic environment with founders who intimidate their board members is not healthy. Calling them out on their deficiencies goes in one ear and out the other, particularly knowing six people left or were fired within a year. The idea of the organization is smart and helpful to many, but at the end of the day, the founders cherish their baby and won't tolerate what others think - constructive criticism is damned."
