"I worked at a small division of Emcore on the east coast. We employed about 25 people before layoffs. Overall the people at my division were great. We got along well and we were able to ship $1,000,000 or more a quarter. But our relationship with the corporate office on the west coast was a bit cumbersome. I feel we were treated as the red-headed stepchild. Eventually I feel they are going to close down the division because of poor money management. They have outsourced most of the work to China. This is just my opinion. The employees out west may feel otherwise."
