"Quit and let someone competent take over"

"Top notch small company with plenty of job security"
What do you like about working at Syn-Tech Systems?
"During the time I was employed, Syn-Tech hired top notch engineers who were fun to work with. Just about everyone else in the company were very easy to work with also!"
What don't you like about working at Syn-Tech Systems?
"Small company means slim chance of career advancement. Salary was decent but not great. However being that it was a small company, there were many other perks."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to what the employees want. Some want continuing education, others want money, praise, a special schedule or just a job they can count on to be there in 10-20 years. Sometimes the little things (sponsored lunches, Christmas party, Thanksgiving party) can go a long way for improving and maintaining employee moral so don't get rid of them."

"The people were interesting, the work fascinating. They have their own movie theater. They gave away a pair of speakers at the company picnic worth $10,000."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"My interview was very pleasant. They didn't ask the typical freshman programming questions."
What don't you like about working at Meyer Sound Laboratories?
"Long after the the rest of the country knew about the recession, the Meyers still had an elaborate company picnic and Christmas party. They also began a very expensive facility expansion. Thus, layoffs were inevitable."

"Nothing they would want to hear."
