"Embarcadero has some great products and some great people. Unfortunately, it also has two distinct cultures that don't quite mix. The Borland team is very dedicated and enthusiastic about their products, and they have some great ones. The Embarcadero team seems totally fragmented and has a lot of turnover. Their marketing team is quite unpleasant."
"Embarcadero does not value its employees. Instead, it looks for the cheapest way to do everything, at the cost of product quality. It is trying to maintain relevancy while milking their product base with products that are released too early to have the quality and functionality required by their customers. A lack of clear technical vision in the products has cost them the early lead many of their products had."
