"I've worked at Lilly since 2001. Management struggles to differentiate employee performance. Typically, most everyone gets the same raise. Like a union environment, an employee is rewarded for average performance. If you are above average in ability, you'll be supporting the raise of others, but could receive better compensation elsewhere. If you're below average, you will be able to get by here. Many co-workers have become unmotivated. If you want to be a top performer, go someplace else. If you're good at networking you'll always have a paycheck, and you can "network" without your supervisor knowing. They don't pay attention."

"I have worked with Lilly from June 2014 to December 2014. Its a great workplace to learn about the Pharma domain. My team was very helpful to help me understand the application quickly and also there are teams to help us understand the policies and new tools by giving training to employees."

"Make sure you know it is a contract and can be stopped at anytime."

"Contract. Only had 2 years working with them. Also the pod thing isn't always the best."

"Remember to look at the talent and the end results. Don't always worry about if we earned our catering degree."

"I don't like some person who always says he knows a lot but he could not do any project on time."

"The outcome of the company's efforts & their support for work life balance (although that's been eroding over the last few years)."

"Downsizing has led to unreasonable work loads & lower morale. The company has been more focused on making shareholders happy and has taken their eye off their employees' needs."

"Focus more on employee needs/well-being and how company initiatives negatively impact that."

"High level of company's ethical standards, strong team and responsibility from day one."

"Explore the Russian pharma industry before making the final decision: it is in many ways different from that of the US and Europe."

"Vague professional growth opportunities (based on analysis of earlier MBA employee's career tracks), low level of involvement in international activity (unlike most other regions, the Russian unit was almost separated from the rest of the global company, with low chances of gaining experience in other geographies)."

"Increase cooperation with other regions: to take advantage of obvious synergies a global company like Lilly can have and to better meet the employee's desire for collaboration and global exposure."
