What do you like about working at Electronic Arts?
"The collaborative environment, always challenging one another to be better than the day before to produce the best product possible given the constraints governing the project."
What don't you like about working at Electronic Arts?
"Anything I may have disliked about working for EA has been taken care of (short sightedness being the biggest issue) through the removal or changes of certain management personnel."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Your team is the backbone to your success. Treat everyone down to the QA Tester with equal respect and listen to their suggestions. Don't dismiss what the little guy has to say or you may wind up with a runaway train as demonstrated in the past."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't try and be something you're not - be prepared to work and play hard."
"EA has great growth potential, but has so many financial ups and downs that the turnover rate is high."
What do you like about working at Electronic Arts?
"Benefits package, stock options, PTO, and 401K"
What don't you like about working at Electronic Arts?
"Lack of urgency until the deadline is truly looming."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Break the team up into sub-teams and alternate the weekends they work. Do not burn out the entire team all at one time. Focus on legitimate goals and deadlines from day one, not one day before the deadline. When the team has to push hard against big goals and little time their morale drops and their trust in leadership diminishes."
