"eHarmony has been purchased by Parship in Germany and has been migrated to a datacenter on the East Coast. My impression of Parship is that they are moving in the correct direction for better customer satisfaction. The cut over from eHarmony in LA to Parship has only been a month, so only time will tell."
"Company has been bought by a match making firm from Germany - Parship. The philosophy that was used to build eHarmony has been thrown out. Infrastructure torn down. Matching infrastructure powered off, and sold. Developers and Operations fired."

What don't you like about working at eHarmony.com?
"Commuting into Santa Monica sucks. Someone needs to go back in time about 15 years and subvert the Santa Monica City Council before the real estate developers did. As it is, SM is pretty much gridlocked several hours a day, as are the only two arteries (the 10 and the 405 freeways)."

However, upper management can be a bit tight-fisted when it comes to salaries and bonuses. Loosen up the purse-strings, guys! I promise, it will come back to you."
