"Be honest. Figure out if you'll match the work style. Ask lots of questions, don't give or accept candy-coated answers."

"I felt stifled. The open and democratic culture has its limits. Issues brought up were not addressed, and the playful teasing could sometimes be a bit much."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more open to criticism. Everyone there wants the company to be all it can. If you want your employees to care, you have to care about them."

"The idea is collaboration, but that doesn't always work out."

"This can be a great place, and the people are wonderful, but make sure you know exactly what you're doing there--what you want to do, what you are expected to do, and how it fits in with others. If you don't, you could feel lost."

"For a company of its size, it is much too difficult to effect change."
