"Get business together with less politics, and meaningless rhetoric. Administrators need to stop concentrating on their own status for money and hire to keep good qualified teachers,so students can continue passing end of grade test,SATs,CATs,etc with flying colors for academia."

"Be prepared to be blindsided and lied too. If you want a career in IT don't expect much here in quality training or experience."

What don't you like about working at Durham Public Schools?

"The supervisory system needs massive work. There are individuals there who are not there for the schools interest but their own. The entire IT department has gone completely downhill and I am actually worried about the students."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Learn how to communicate with your workers and actually listen. Keep the good workers who actually want to do good for the schools and not cave in to politics and keep individuals who have driven away the experience and talent."
