"I really don’t enjoy working here. I feel disrespected by management and by others, even though a few people here are friendly. We’ve had massive reductions in staff size. I believe management is very green, doesn’t know what they are doing, and lacks basic integrity/honesty. I have no confidence in them. It’s unfortunate, because working remote is wonderful and they have good clients."
"This place is in chaos, between losing tons of business, internal fighting, frequent random firings, layoffs, and loads of people quitting. Morale is really low. Coworkers have described it as “a living hell”, “a cult” and have talked about not being able to sleep, needing to see a shrink from the stress of working here. I didn’t find it to be total hell, but it is a pretty miserable place, worse than what I ever could have imagined. People don’t have confidence in the abilities of the executives. senior management is dishonest, lacks integrity, and has a similar management style as Donald Trump. They use intimidation to keep people in a constant state of fear, if not panic, so staff is afraid to speak. They set impossible expectations, and they publicly shame people. Some of the clients don’t seem to be happy with work quality, which creates a tense environment from declining revenue. The company has ok clients so that’s a ok aspect of working here. And some employees, despite all the chaos and overall unhappiness are nice on a one on one basis."
"DockYard has a clear sense of culture and direction, and does a great job hiring quality people who care about each other and their specialties. The environment was overall positive with lots of support for doing the best you can and continuing to grow."
"Really difficult people to work with. High staff turnover, voluntary and involuntary."
