"1.) Culture - Low morale, low engagement. HIGH TURN OVER in employees (1-4 people have resigned each week for the last couple of months). Management is calling people inviting them to apply for positions because the applicant pool is so low. We cannot attract or retain people. We have interim Deans (failed national searches) with extended contracts and temps for secretaries and other staff positions. Management cannot be trusted, supervisors regularly harass or avoid/exclude people they don't like. 2.) Finances - The university has been operating in the red for its 10th year. They are bleeding money. They have cut people's salaries citing "responsibility adjustments". They have hired consultants from company after company to tell them how they should operate the university to stay afloat."
