"Fun industry, fast paced environment"
What don't you like about working at Tucker Rocky Distributing?
"lack of support and understanding regarding the importance of infrastructure in support of operations. Customer orders were still being processed on paper and they had not done a wall to wall physical inventory in 10+ years."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They have taken many of my suggestions and have improved the quality of their operations. The only other suggestion I would have is that hiring people just because they have a passion or interest in motorcycles is not the best criteria when making hiring decisions."

"There is always something going on. Toys R Us is a very dynamic organization. The people you work with are some of the best in the industry: motivated, career minded, good service people."

"Promise less, deliver more."

"Seasonality takes its toll on your family life. As with all retail, there are long hours and late nights and weekends."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Retail is all about the experience and service. Don't scrimp on man-hours. Use the people needed to service the customers. There are too many options these days, such as online shopping."

"Actually, they do not let you perform your job well, top management does not let you to take actions by yourself, they are the ones deciding what to be done."

"If you like to work in a place where you cannot do much due to top management people's decisions, then this is the place to work, otherwise look for a job somewhere else."

"You do not have the right to decide by yourself about things to be done, it's always the management staff who says Yes or No, but you're responsible for your job, eventhough you cannot decide what's to be done to have the job done."

"They need to get training on managing people, professional training over all."

"Primary job is 100% customer satisfaction and employee safety. Each manager must have integrity and demand excellence with high quality, high performance standards and accountability. Each manager must learn their position and have a comprehensive knowledge of companys operations and policies. Successful managers must develop a Best Practice process of continuous improvement. An exceptional manager establishes an attitude of excellence by team-builder, mentoring and being a good problem solver. Always work as a T.E.A.M. Together Everyone Accomplishes More."
