"I had a great time at Disney. My team eventually got split up and became part of a huge layoff. I loved who I worked with. The atmosphere was great as it was an open environment. Everyone was friendly. Tough times for Disney though, they pretty much laid off almost all of my department."

"Work with Disney Interactive for about 6 months, the project was fun, however, not much in the room for growth. Everything is kept in a hush-hush manner, which makes it difficult for employees who are seeking a more permanent position. Since the company is recovering from the massive layoff which ended various of the Disney developers, this company has maybe on project a year if that. Not suited for veteran testers."

"I have a few complaints about the company, some people are under paid and you are expected to do duties outside you job description. At times I had no guidance on what was expected of me after getting promoted. It feels as if the company just develops games on what has succeeded in the past and not on what is new or innovative. Over all good people and a good company, nice office."

"Great place to work with great people, but unfortunately I feel that management needs to understand how to take their time in expanding the workforce so that the massive layoffs won't happen again. Also better planning for the game portfolio as not to saturate the company's portfolio with the same type of game."

"I worked for Disney Interactive for over 3 years and while there were many amazing people and great potential to make fantastic games, that potential cannot be realized as the management knows very little about how games are made and how to judge the quality of the employees at game development."

"Started working at Playdom when it was 20 member office, grew to over 150 today. Excellent space to work/grow in the initial 2 years. Great startup culture, tremendously talented folks, most of which has started to fade after the acquisition by Disney. Open culture, no nonsense, get work done culture. Hands on and ground level, including server cost analysis/procurement, debugging. On a side note, I had to mention Palo Alto, CA, however I work out of Bangalore, Karnataka India."
