"Opportunity to build out a new SaaS solution for a profitable company. Some good people in engineering."

"Only if you need the dollars would I say pursue this company."

"Sr. Management could not decide whether they wanted to build out a new solution or acquire another company----their waffling affected quite a few people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Major divisions of the company, 50+ employees at a location, can NOT, NOT be managed from 3000 miles away! You must have a strong management team to manage each development organization."

"We worked with multiple government agencies and their vendors. There was absolutely no lack of interesting work to be done."

"The model on which the business was built was not sustainable. Decisions were often made in haste without proper analysis."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Concentrate on selling online services to a collection of smaller customers in order to build a diverse and stable client base."

"Be aware that is a very demanding fast paced environment, little to no room for learning"

What do you like about working at Brainmedia?
"I loved the work, the people, the fresh air of developing new ideas into new product. Development on two continents provided opportunity to develop 16-18 hours per day. The speed of development was mind boggling."
What don't you like about working at Brainmedia?
"In order to realize original business model BrainMedia had to sell $10 of services to every living person on Earth. We did not have an opportunity to become viable, yet technologically we were extremely sophisticated."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I was the management. Suggestion would be not to believe what you hear, but I knew that already. Loop back to original plans review could indicate holes in the model, but the model was never fully explained to me, nor was I interested, being a geek myself."
