"They demanded a minimum of 12 hour days and after I attained the AS9100 (the Aerospace equivalent to ISO 9001)Certification, they didn't need me anymore and did not fulfill promises of promotion."

"Make sure all commitments are in writing."
What don't you like about working at Textron?
"The General Manager changed and he changed the approach to how I would be promoted. He had his own Quality Person in mind to run my newly certified Quality Organization."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stay true to your commitments wherever possible and reward great achievements. I was brought on to get the company AS9100 Certified and I accomplished that on our 1st attempt. Previously, they failed their attempts."

"The atmosphere was very educational with development opportunities outside of simply directing the quality departments. Participation in business development, lean manufacturing and financial decisions allowed for professional growth."
