"After a while, it started to act more like a big company and didn't take advantage of opportunities as quickly."

What do you like about working at Motorola Solutions?
"At the time of my work there it was a fantastic environment: upper management stimulated and encouraged middle management participation in the development of new product lines. I truly can say that I thrived while working there: we were able to introduce advanced technology products, set the stage for internet technology strategy and laid grounds for our expertise. Many middle management people from that division moved to other companies in Boston and Silicon valley areas and became important contributors to technology business. I think that Motorola still a very good place to work for a person with innovative ideas and creative energy."
What don't you like about working at Motorola Solutions?
"It is a good place to start working in high technology area. Perhaps right now, that is much later it is not as dynamic as some other companies.However I can not say anything that I did not like there, there were many challenges, but we worked well as a team to solve them. And the company did very well."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My advice to management is to continue enhancing the culture of innovation. Probably to apply more of an HP model to the company strategy would be beneficial."
