"It's location on Roosevelt BLVD. At times it was difficult to recruit and maintain staff due to it's location."

"I enjoyed working with the CNA and LPN staff that lived in this community. They made work fun."

"Family members of PHS the management firm were unfair and hired and fired who they wished, and had no justification."

"Very poor managment, little forsight into future opportunity, upper managers (Admin + RD) take credit for others ideas and work"

"My view is a little tainted due to the Administrator and RD, taking credit for work I accomplished, while setting me up for a fall. I very much liked the personnel"

"avoid them at present, they have had an upheaval in managment, so I am sure upper managment will be worse than ever at taking credit, backstabbing, only support you when they can turn it into their ideas"

"Too many politics, too many upper managment playing games/ politics to really see what opportunities lie ahead"

"Embrace change and leadership, do not squash creativity or new ideas"

"Working with the residents, helping them solve any problems they may have. Working with my staff, doing staff education either one on one or as a group."
What don't you like about working at Flint Hills Care Center?
"The upper management didn't pay the bills which affected me greatly, forced to cut staff to unsafe levels, which this last time I resigned, because it was not safe and management told staff it was my idea. Unable to get supplies when needed. On call 24-7 with no regard to my personal life. Management very untrustworthy."

"Remember the client comes first. Be honest with staff and be open to suggestions from them."
