"I got to work on many leading edge technologies which are still in use today. Advancement was abundant - you could change technologies without leaving the company."

"Deccies had a reputation of being slackers. Not in the groups I worked for! Several of my old co-workers have made millions in startups or have had great careers after DEC."

"Working for Digital Equipment Corp was probably the most interesting and exciting opportunitiy I have had as a Software Engineer. I was able to be engaged in first-in-industry types of projects developing and enhancing an operating system (OpenVMS) and products (Apache, Kerberos, SSL, and disk structures) which are used in many of the most critical industries around the world."
