"Do not work at this company unless it's you need the experience or money really badly."
What do you like about working at DialAmerica?
"Even though I did the job of 8 people there, I enjoyed the experience because it gave me a ton of experience including database management, programming and design and network performance monitoring and improving. It offered a wide range of experience."
What don't you like about working at DialAmerica?
"The salary is not even at the basic level of a programmer. Because it's a college town they can really underpay you and get away with it. They have a terrible history with the Better Business Bureau and I was doing the work of about 8 programmers, because I was a fast coder, while other programmers slept and snored really loudly."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay more attention to how much, or how little, work is given to each employee and keep a better eye on team leads to make sure they are assigning work evenly."
"It's okay, but not where I'd want to build a career."
What do you like about working at DialAmerica?
"It felt good whenever I was able to help a customer and have them leave happier than when they first called in. I had nice co-workers and my supervisors were all very approachable."
What don't you like about working at DialAmerica?
"It was very boring whenever call volume dropped and there are always those days when you get unreasonable customers who simply want to yell at someone rather than allow you to address the issue as best you can. I estimate 90% of the reps were forced to work part-time and there were very few benefits."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Let the reps work full-time and provide better benefits. Gifts and swag are nice, but I'd rather have the option to invest in some decent health insurance."
