What do you like about working at Dreams Fulfilled Through Music?
"I helped to found Dreams Fulfilled Through Music in February of 2005 the organization provides adaptive music education and music therapy services to persons with disabilities. I am pleased to say I have had a part in its incorporation and I am happy to say that I see the organization growing in ways I would never have imagined when I first began on my journey. The people who dedicate their life to its mission are truly wonderful people. As are the wonderful people that we serve. The work never quite seems like work. It is a pleasure and a joy to be a part of this organization."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would suggest that before you walk into an interview that you do your homework. They know that it is unlikely that you will have a firm grasp of the non- profit industry, the health and human services industry and music industry. However you should try to surprise them with your grasp of complexities that are apparent from all these industries and prepare an answer of how you intend to address those very issues within the organization."
What don't you like about working at Dreams Fulfilled Through Music?
". I really enjoy doing the work for Dreams. I intend to continue to volunteer my time to them anyway I can. I do need to grow with in my desired field . Unfortunately my growth is stagnant at this time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"This is a hard question to answer because I am the one in charge of making and following through on strategic goals. Presently I am planning a capitol campaign to help secure a permanent location. This will go a long way is establishing the viability and survivability of the organization."
