"I have worked for the Department of family and protective services since 2014. I have enjoyed my employment and grown as a professional. This career path is definitely for those who are critical thinkers, courageous, and enjoy making independent decisions with data support. This position is rewarding however can be emotional."
"I have worked at TDFPS since 2007, the agency has changed a lot over the years. I have had a variety of supervisors some phenomenal and some horrible. You can't determine in a state agency which you will get, however your supervisor will make or break your job. The job itself is demanding but rewarding if you are doing it to keep kids safe."
"They do great things for the state and people of texas."
